The story of SEBASTIANSTURM - Innovative Accessories begins in 2015. Initially, the guiding principle "I make wood portable!" was the theme of Sebastian Sturm's final project in wood engineering. He therefore focused on the design and production of protective covers and cases for notebooks and cell phones, which would ultimately be made from the natural material wood.

For this reason, he worked closely with a veneer manufacturer to develop a novel veneering technique that made it possible to produce wood that was not only durable, but also elastic and 3D moldable. What initially seemed like a difficult challenge quickly proved to be promising.

As this development process proved successful, more and more people became enthusiastic about his innovative concept. They were so inspired and excited by the new veneer material that he spent his evenings creating sketches for handbag shapes, designs, and material combinations.

Due to the overwhelming feedback on the first samples, Sebastian Sturm knew that this idea had potential and decided to conquer the fashion world with it.

From the very beginning, he was certain that he only wanted to produce products with the highest quality standards:
Therefore, he only uses leather tanned using an environmentally friendly process. He also places great importance on the quality of craftsmanship in the further processing. He found this craftsmanship at a traditional company in southern Germany, where production is carried out according to high social standards. The result of these efforts is that each bag is a unique piece, handcrafted by a master craftsman!

With the first collection of seven models in different variations, the young wood technician launched the online shop SEBASTIANSTURM.NET in October 2015.
